PRELIMINARY FIRST AID is a short course designed to equip 11 to 16 year olds with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies.

Learn basic life support measures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as how to treat bleeding, burns, shock and unconscious or collapsed patients.

Participants who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion.

This is an introductory non-accredited course - there are no formal assessments.

The course is run by an accredited trainer from the Australian Red Cross.

Light lunch and snacks provided. (Some dietary requirements can be catered for)
