First Aid Training - Dargaville - 15 July

Designed to build your confidence in responding to accidents and medical emergencies, whether they occur at work or at home, this practical and engaging course equips you with essential first aid skills that are easy to apply in real‑life situations

One-day/8-hours - Foundation First Aid Certificate Course

• Please allow a few minutes to settle in and grab a cuppa

• Catering: Tea/Coffee provided, bring your own lunch (Half hour break) or buy from a cafe in the area

• Outfit: Wear comfortable clothing as you will be required to move around and on/off the floor

This course covers:

• This course covers:

  Accident management and assessing an unconscious patient

• CPR and use of an AED/defibrillator

• Choking emergencies

• Severe bleeding and bleeding control

• Fractures and soft‑tissue injuries

• Allergic reactions and common medical conditions (such as asthma, seizures, and other workplace‑relevant issues)

• Burns and poisoning

• Practical, scenario‑based exercises to apply first aid skills

On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a Foundation First Aid Certificate, valid for 2 years.

Ticket Price:

• $35 (+GST) per person for member organisations

• $60 (+GST) per person for non-member organisations

Our courses are only open for non-for-profit organisations staff and volunteers.

Tickets might be limited to 2 attendees per organisation, to ensure all organisations have a fair chance of booking their volunteers and staff in. We usually wait until a week before the course date to lift ticket restrictions.
