First Drafts: Reading Salon
Description
‘First Drafts’ is a series of reading salons held every second month at Willows & Wine.
This event is about offering a space for writers to share their work in a friendly, low-pressure environment, and receive feedback from a supportive audience. These pieces are all in the phase of a 'first draft', and are not yet published. You'll hear a mixture of poetry, short stories, essays and more!
The Theme:
Nostalgia
Are you reminiscing over sweet summers past, or regretting all the things you never said aloud? We want to hear your fondest memories, your bittersweet goodbyes and all the things you wish you could do over (or never) again.
Let’s get sentimental.
Doors at 6pm
Performances begin at 7:30pm*
*Please arrive at least 15 minutes before performances begin so we can start promptly at 7:30pm
