A New Chapter Begins at Cunningham Hall

Join us for a landmark evening as we celebrate the Grand Opening of Cunningham Piano's new King of Prussia home and the debut of First Fridays at Cunningham Hall, featuring internationally acclaimed Philadelphia pianist, composer and producer Eric Wortham II.

Eric has built an extraordinary career performing with some of the world's most celebrated artists. A Yamaha Artist, he has toured with Adele, Jill Scott and Jazmine Sullivan, collaborated with artists including Ms. Lauryn Hill, Seal, Musiq Soulchild and Vivian Green, and appeared on stages ranging from the Grammy Awards to Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show and Good Morning America. Most recently, Eric completed Adele's three-year Las Vegas residency—more than 100 performances—as well as her special residency in Munich.

For Cunningham, having Eric open Cunningham Hall carries a special significance. A Philadelphia native, Eric's connection with Cunningham reaches back to his early years as a developing musician, when he spent time practicing at our historic Germantown location.

Now, he returns to help us celebrate an entirely new chapter.

This evening marks more than the opening of a new showroom. It is the beginning of Cunningham Hall as a gathering place for music, artists, educators and the community—and the launch of First Fridays, our new monthly series bringing celebrated artists to Cunningham Hall for intimate live performances.

For a company whose story began in Philadelphia in 1891, this is a very special night.
