FIRST NATIONS ART TOUR - General Public Date: Wednesday May 28th Time: 09:30 to 12:30 Location: Tour departs from Station Place [eastern entrance to Werribee Train Station] This tour is open to everyone - BUT TICKETS ARE LIMITED! The FIRST NATIONS ART TOURs return for 2025! Connect, learn and experience together. Meeting and beginning the tour at Peter Waples-Crowe's artwork 'AFFIRM' - the last chance to see this iconic artwork by Peter work before a new First Nations commission takes it's place in early July. This tour also includes three new public artworks created as part of Wyndham Arts First Nations programming including the community-created mural at Wunggurrwil Dhurrung (in partnership with Koling wada-gnal Aboriginal Corporation). This public tour offers an opportunity to engage with First Nations art and stories across Bunurong and Waddawurrung lands and the Wyndham landscape. Transport and lunch provided (at Wunggurrwil Dhurrung, the last stop) with return transport to Werribee Station. For this MOB FORST MOB FED, after being welcomed to Bunurong Country, be the first to see the "JXSH MVIR: Forever I Live" exhibition featuring the work of renowned artist, the late proud Gunditjmara, Yorta Yorta and Barkindji artist Josh Muir.
