Event description

Come along to our First Nations Bookclub here at USYD Library. We welcome our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to come together and share our stories and yarn about books, movies, podcasts and music. This will be a welcoming space for mob to enjoy our peoples creativity and culture.

This Bookclub is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, students and community.

We will meet once every two months and will chat about a particular theme. The first session will be us getting to know each other over food, and tea and coffee. Then we’ll jump into our theme for the session which is “Home”. What have you read, watched or listened to that has you thinking about home?

Any questions contact Pippa Herden, Indigenous Engagement Officer, pippa.herden@sydney.edu.au

We acknowledge the tradition of custodianship and law of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation where this event is held. We pay our respects to those who have care and continue to care for Country.
