Join the Macquarie University Law Society (MULS) and Clayton Utz for an engaging conversation exploring the experiences, pathways and perspectives of First Nations people within the legal profession.

This event will bring together legal professionals and members of the Wattamattagal community to discuss what it means to navigate the legal profession as a First Nations person, the different pathways into law, and the role of leadership, advocacy and community in shaping the profession.

The panel will explore a range of topics, including pathways into legal education and the profession, experiences navigating legal workplaces and institutions, opportunities for leadership and advocacy, and the importance of community-led change. It will also provide an opportunity to reflect on how the legal profession can continue to create meaningful pathways and spaces for First Nations people.

Whether you are a law student considering your future career, interested in First Nations perspectives and experiences within the legal system, passionate about advocacy and social justice, or simply looking to engage in a thoughtful and meaningful conversation, this event is open to everyone.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to continue the conversation and connect with speakers and fellow students during networking.
