Yarn and Sip Series: First Nations Music & 'Dot Music' Short Film with Aunty Cheryl
Event description
Join us for a soulful evening at Ochre Dawn's Yarn & Sip 2024 series!
Our first event of the year celebrates First Nations Music and Film with the incredible Aunty Cheryl (Peramangk/Ngarrindjeri pianist and composer).
As we acknowledge the anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations by former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Aunty Cheryl will grace us with her own piano compositions, weaving tales of her cultural and musical journey.
Engage in a Q&A session with her and be captivated by the award-nominated short documentary 'Dot Music' sharing her inspiring story.
Indulge in wonderful refreshments provided by our First Nations business partners. We can't wait to see you for this unique blend of culture, music, and film!
