Firstdraft: We Tea by Jingwei Bu - Public Engaged Performance
Event description
On the day following the opening exhibition, Jingwei Bu will present a one-on-one, silent tea ceremony retrial in Gallery 3. This objectless performance invites individual audience members to enter the tea room and sit opposite the artist on a stack of A4 paper, still and present. Together, they share the quiet ritual and the passing of time, creating a space for reflection, intimacy, and presence.
Time: 23 August, 11:00 am -1:30 pm
Bookings are welcome. Please wear comfortable pants and enter the tea room with shoes on. Silence is to be maintained throughout the experience to allow space for quiet meditation and presence.
