The Adaptation Game Ipswich is a board game that has been localised to Ipswich, using storytelling and shared experiences to help people explore how they can be resilient for disasters just like this. Will you join us to officially launch this new resource and be a part of the first play through?

What is The Adaptation Game Ipswich?

Developed to encourage conversation, reflection, learning, and most importantly adaptation, TAG helps participants consider the challenges disasters can bring while highlighting the important role individuals, families, community groups, and local organisations play in supporting one another before, during, and after an event.

Official Launch Event

Times: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

The launch event is an opportunity to discover the resource, hear about its journey to becoming an Ipswich-focused experience, and explore how it can be used to support community conversations across our region.

Light refreshments themed around disasters will be provided.

First Play Through

2:00pm - 6:00pm

If you would like to take part in the first session of TAG Ipswich, join us after the launch event as we play the game for the first time. Participation in the first game requires pre-registration as there are limited places available. We cannot guarantee a place on the day of the event.

No board game experience required!

TAG is suitable for anyone aged 16 and up.

Younger children may attend with a responsible adult and do not require their own ticket.
