Fit Out A Tiny House Course - October 2024


Event description

This 4-day course follows on from our Build A Tiny House Course, and is open to new participants - no experience necessary!

Guided by professional carpenters and an electrician we will focus on using reclaimed building materials and learning through doing. You will work as part of a team to fit-out the interior of the Tiny House built by previous course participants. 

This course is an ideal evolution for Tiny House Course participants to expand their skills and learn about installing insulation, waterproofing, cabinetry and electrical power installation. New participants will build confidence to handle building and power tools.

DATES: Wednesday 28 - Saturday 31 October, 2024  

What will I learn from this course?

  • Electrical fit out - powerpoints, wiring, and lighting 240 volt enabled electrical connection
  • Insulation - laying of 100% recycled insulation for walls
  • Walls - cladding of all 4 internal wallings completed
  • Cabinetry - learn to construct stairs and basic storage
  • Waterproofing - techniques for protecting timbers

We welcome beginners, experts, the curious and the adventurous. You will acquire knowledge and skills that will last you a lifetime.

50% deposit required to secure your place - $515.00, with the balance of $515.00 due by Monday 23 September, 2024.
