Join Us to Celebrate 185 Years of the Fitzsimons Family in Australia

In 1841, two courageous 18-year-olds, John and Mary Fitzsimons, left County Meath, Ireland, embarking on a long and challenging voyage to a new life in Australia.

They arrived in Melbourne on 15 January 1841, when the settlement covered just ten acres. After farming for more than two decades, they established the Fitzsimons family in Templestowe in 1864, creating a legacy that continues to flourish 185 years later.

Now it's time to celebrate our shared history, reconnect with family, and honour the generations who came before us.
