Come and join members of Henley Community Garden and our guest speakers as we welcome everyone for afternoon tastings amongst our harvest, a tour of the garden and our special Resilience and mental health’ panel discussion.

This event is the 4th in our Humans Grow at the Green series of workshops, supported with a community grant from Australia Post.

What is resilience and what have we learned? A panel of guest speakers will share some of the challenges they have encountered in their varied roles and chat about what they have learned about resilience. Consultant GP and panel moderator, Dr Jan Orman, leads the discussion with some local community characters to discuss their experiences of recovery and resilience. Jan will explore their experiences to draw out shared insights and demonstrate how the 5 Ways to Wellbeing can be used as a simple tool for to manage good mental health.

Garden tours running from 4pm before the 4:30 start for our panel. Delicious nibbles, fragrant cordials and teas included for all!
