Five years of Fairer, Safer Renting: How is Victoria faring and what's to come?

Since March 2021, Victoria has led the nation to change the state’s Residential Tenancies Act to make renting fairer and safer.

A lot can happen in five years and to mark the anniversary of the 2021 RTA reforms, VCOSS is hosting a free online forum featuring:

• Victorian Minister for Consumer Affairs, The Hon. Nick Staikos in conversation with VCOSS CEO, Juanita Pope - together they will discuss Victoria's rental fairness agenda

• This will be followed by a presentation and audience Q&A with Tenant's Victoria Senior Lawyer (and Renters' Rights Rundown icon) Ben Cording. Ben will break down key rental rules in Victoria for community sector workers and answer your questions.

This free online forum is for anyone in the community sector who supports people navigating rental issues, as well as those working on renting policy and advocacy.
