Flangipanis and Atticus Chimps

Island Bowls club will host some rad musicians from South East QLD.  Come join in for the fun.

Flangipanis are a 4 piece punk band, they have amazing nice fast catchy punkie tunes.  They have a bunch of album releases and they won 4ZZZ hottest 100 4 years in a row.  They put on a great show, supported NOFX on their last tour, you will want to jump around and dance to this band.

Atticus Chimps are a new upcoming band with some mega riffs, they have an interesting set up with a bass and drums, plus a few synth sounds.  It's like pop and psychedelic rock, what ever you call it, it's bloody good.

Jodie Flange is the singer from Flangipanis and does nice solo acoustic work, kinda a little bit countryish with some funny lyrics.  She also grew up in Mt Isa, she is one of us!!
