Fleecy flower or fun ball cushion sewing workshop

Sew fun for kids! is a place to learn all about sewing while making fun projects that you can take home and treasure.

In this fun mini school holiday workshop you will learn how to craft a beautiful fleece flower cushion or a fun fleece ball cushion.

This workshop is suitable for boys and girls aged 7 and up and teens. All fabrics and accessories will be provided. A variety of fabrics will be available to choose from on the day.

You will learn how to:

• use a sewing machine to sew straight lines and curves

• stuff the cushion and use a hand stitch to sew the cushion closed.

You will take home your amazing cushion at the end of the workshop.

You might like to bring along a snack and a water bottle. Please do not include any food items that contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Sew fun for kids! accepts Service NSW Creative Kids vouchers. If you would like to use a voucher, select the Creative Kids voucher ticket. The ticket price will be reduced to to reflect the use of the $50 voucher. You will also be required to enter:

- the voucher number

- your child's name

- your child's date of birth.

All of these details are required for me to register your voucher.

If you have a gift certificate, please select the gift certificate tickets. If there is a difference between the ticket cost and your voucher, an invoice will be emailed to you for the difference.

A minimum of 4 children are required for the workshop to go ahead. This workshop has a maximum of 8 participants.


The workshops run from 9am to 12pm at 4/31 Terminus St, Castle Hill. Our studio has an internal toilet so children do not need to leave the studio during the workshop.

Please note, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the workshop as we will have purchased all of the fabrics and accessories for your child. In the event you are unable to attend we are very happy to provide you with the fabric kit and pattern instructions for you to pick up from the studio and create at home or you can transfer the ticket to a friend.
