Fleur Ferris - Story Design – From Idea to Finished Novel

Screenwriter and bestselling young adult thriller writer, Fleur Ferris, knows all about plotting and planning when it comes to what her fictional characters get up to - but what does it take to turn a great idea into a finished, saleable book? 

In this two-hour workshop, Fleur will take aspiring writers through the essential elements every story needs, and tips on how to stay motivated and make your novel writing dream a reality. 

We encourage writers from age 16 to over 60 to attend. This is a rare opportunity to learn from an exciting Australian writer whose books are loved around the world. Many are included in school curriculums, students have used them for school performances and some have also been optioned for film and screen.
