FLEUR WIBER - 'Parramatta River' - Album Launch

with special guests...

Rita B and Dedy Keita

Live at the Servo, Port kembla
Friday 30th June 2023
6pm

To celebrate the release of Fleur Wiber's new album "Parramatta River", three artists are putting on a show of heartfelt, original music. Joining Fleur Wiber will be local alt. folk artist Rita B bringing her grungy, warm and melodic vocal and guitar sound to the Servo. Also joining the lineup will be Dedy Keita. Hailing from Indonesia, but now based in the Wollongong area, Dedy performs soulful roots/reggae songs with a beautiful voice accompanied by his guitar and sometimes piano. With these three original solo acts performing in the intimate setting of the Servo Food Truck Bar, this is a on-time-only event to feast your ears on. We hope to see you there!

Fleur Wiber’s music has been described as "Mermaid Country". Born in Hamilton, Victoria, her music has always drawn on folk and country influences, with the "Orderves" EP in 2013 released by Foghorn Records and then "In the Place of My Dreams" in 2016.  Working with producers Michael Carpenter, Matt Joe Gow and Andy Pollock, Fleur has really come into her own alt-country rock sound. This launch tour is a celebration of this fun, dreamy, warm and homely-sounding record "Parramatta River", with influences such as Fiona Apple, Neko Case and Wilco.

Rita B is an alt. folk singer songwriter based on the South Coast of New South Wales. Sometimes performing as a 3-piece band her music can range from alt country to folk to heavy rock with beautiful, melodic and soulful vocals that test the boundaries of what a vocalist can do. She makes music that is raw, honest, unfiltered and unapologetic.

Dedy Keita performs soulful roots/reggae songs with a beautiful voice accompanied by his guitar and sometimes piano. He writes about life, freedom, love and spirituality. Dedy Keita has performed with many other roots and reggae royalty in Bali as well as around the coast of New South Wales - where he currently lives. A talented singer, guitarist and percussionist, Dedy always brings good vibes to a venue when he plays.
