Flinders Factory of the Future Tour

Flinders Factory of the Future (FFF) is Flinders University’s advanced manufacturing hub, partnering with industry to optimise the performance of people and technology in manufacturing. Working with organisations ranging from SMEs to global enterprises, FFF helps solve real-world manufacturing challenges through applied research, advanced technologies, workforce development, and industry collaboration. Our expertise spans areas such as digital twinning, robotics and automation, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, human-technology integration, and testing and validation, with a strong focus on sectors including maritime defence, medical devices, energy, and advanced manufacturing.

For Defence Teaming Centre members, this tour offers a glimpse into how FFF is supporting Australian sovereign manufacturing capability by working with industry to accelerate innovation, improve productivity, strengthen workforce capability, and translate research into practical outcomes for manufacturers.
