FLOCK Festival | STRANGER DANGER: Flock Closing Dinner Party
Event description
An ode to the mysterious Perth Facebook account of 2012 that organised Monday night dinners with strangers, join us for the final night of our festival for an evening of musical chairs, new friends, delicious food and live performances from return artists from across the month.
If you've attended any of our events this month, then you'll have come to love the community, intimacy and open creativity that Flock represents. The Stranger Danger Closing Dinner Party is a celebration of all the different aspects of Flock rolled into one - a wholesome evening of food, friendship, creative community, music, performance and collaboration.
We're going to take you back through the program with sets from Boox Kid (from Red Ruby on Oct 1), Reuben De Melo (from Soul Song on Oct 14) and Huey Brazadich (from Left of Centre Oct 8). Expect additional surprise cameo appearances from other special festival guests and return performers as well as opportunities to join in with a big ol' juicy jam hosted by Solomon Pitt & Elise Lynelle and the house band (from Open Soul on Oct 4).
We've got jazz, blues, soul, instrumental, electronic, classical, acoustic, spoken word, rap and everything in between. If you've come late to the party and missed the shows this month, then this will be the one night that you can't miss as this evening will be a culmination of the month boiled down into one big creative showdown!
Our pop-up dinner comes courtesy of amazing chef Daniel Lim, a seasoned local hero who has headed up kitchens across Perth.
This is an intimate evening featuring festival faves and the love, care and creativity of our FLOCK.
Join us for one final hurrah with all our new friends from across this month as we bid farewell to Flock Festival 2022.
We started this month as strangers, and we will leave this month as friends.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the event concludes at 9:30pm
Please note: Your ticket includes access to a one off show with some of Perth's best performers and musicians over dinner and includes a welcome drink upon arrival. Additional refreshments will be available for purchase.
