Sweet Story Theatre Co presents a free children's theatre show...

Floopy's Fuzzled Feelings

ABOUT THE SHOW

Floopy is a frazzled little monster with big emotions!

Sometimes fueled by fantastic feels, other times flooded with frenzies of fiery frustration, Floopy is confused… He’s been told he has big feelings, but he can’t see them anywhere?

Directed by Jac Marriott, co-written by Lili Favrel and Jasmine Story, and performed by Jasmine Story and Betty Sweetlove, this delightful show is educationally targeted to the social and emotional learning of 4-7 year olds and people who know them. Join Floopy and Fizz to help these two monsters explore Earth and learn how to respond to a host of big feelings. In this interactive, multi-sensory journey, audiences will help Floopy to unfuzzle himself, and learn age-appropriate ways of discussing big feelings with little people, discovering all kinds of strategies to help recognise and manage them.

Presented by Sweet Story Theatre Co, a new collaboration born of a desire to boost the amount of experimental theatre in Mparntwe Alice Springs, diversify audiences and make theatre the accessible art form it should be.

This event will take place on unceeded Arrernte Country in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. We acknowledge Elders, past and present, and we acknowledge that deep listening to First Nations peoples' stories of ongoing resistance and protection of Country are our way forward together. This always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. This event is supported by the Regional Arts Fund, Alice Springs Town Council, Birth & Beyond, and 8CCC Community Radio.
