In this floral design workshop, you'll work with seasonal and locally sourced blooms and foliage to create your own flower arrangement.

You will be guided through the process along with the elements and techniques of floral design. By the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own flower arrangement to take home and enjoy, packaging for easy transport, and greater knowledge of the flowers you worked with!

Allison B. Young (she/her)

Allison has worked in flowers for about 14 years and has hosted floral design workshops for about 4 years. While she teaches certain elements of design and techniques that she uses as a professional florist, Allison also encourages participants to tune into the flowers before them and work with their natural beauty, growth habit, and shape to create a design that emulates and honors nature. Allison also strives to work with local flower farms to source blooms and provide vases, clippers, and all other materials needed.
