Half Day Floral Workshop

This half-day floral workshop is designed for beginners and ideal for anyone who loves flowers and wants to explore their creative side! Join Antonella from Flortanica this September to create two beautiful, everlasting floral arrangements using a mix of dried and preserved native flowers and foliage. You will learn about the types of flowers and foliage used, explore techniques such as working with chicken wire, prepare stems and understand basic design principles. Tap into your creativity as you create beautiful floral arrangements to take home that express your unique style!

What will be covered in this course?

- All dried and preserved flowers, foliage and floral sundries required for your arrangements will be supplied. - Additionally, you will receive a handout outlining the flowers and foliage included. - Florist scissors will be made available for your use throughout the duration of the workshop.

By the end of this course:

Build the confidence to create floral arrangements that work beautifully for any occasion.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Antonella brings over 30 years of experience as an educator in both State and Catholic secondary schools, with a focus on Visual Arts and teaching students with disability. Her love of nature, contemporary art and fashion has long influenced her creative journey.

Before relocating from Sydney, she completed a Certificate III in Floristry at Pearsons School of Floristry. Since moving to the Coffs Harbour region, Antonella has established Flortanica, a floral studio specialising in dried and preserved flowers and foliage.
