FLORESCERE — A Somatic Dance Journey

The meaning of Florescere - "to begin to bloom". Literally, it means "to flower out" or "to burst forth into bloom"

Do you feel it? The bursting of new life around you?

The sweetness of the sun kissing your skin, the fragrance in the air, the way your body responds to this changing energy?

We are currently transitioning past the point of the spring equinox, and the world is asking us to emerge from the rich soil of winter and grow into the light.

Is there something wishing to be created in this potent time? What old stories are we shedding to be left in the dark?

Let us dance, move, breath and explore that spark of new life and potential.

About Ceri (Soularliving):

Ceri is a 300hr somatic dance facilitator and has over 500 hours of training in eco-somatic and traditional yoga. She offers regular dance events in Wānaka.

She is a qualified Dance/Movement Therapist, trained through Dance/Movement Therapy Training Aotearoa, with additional training in Somatic Trauma Therapy.

Ceri is passionate about weaving together her love of nature, somatics, and community — creating spaces for expression, healing, and embodied aliveness.
