Flourish & Make, Connected by Care, is a free community wellbeing session which was created to bring carers and families together in a relaxed, welcoming space.
This event is about connection, not obligation; a chance for carers to step away from daily responsibilities, meet others who truly understand, and enjoy some well-deserved time out. Whether you come to chat, create, or simply sit and breathe, you are welcome just as you are.

Yes. This event is completely free to attend. Our goal is to bring carers and families together in a supportive, welcoming space.
- Who is this event for?
This event is for carers, parents, family members and loved ones supporting someone with disability who would like time out and connection with others in similar situations.
- Do I need to have any creative experience?
Not at all. The session is relaxed and inclusive — there is no right or wrong way to participate. You’re welcome to create, chat, or simply enjoy the space.
- Do I have to stay for the full session?
No. You are welcome to arrive and leave at any time between 10am and 2pm.
- Will food and drinks be provided?
Water and juice will be provided. Food can be purchased onsite during the session.
- Where is the event held?
The event will be held in the Elizabeth Room at Mounties.
- Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The venue is accessible. If you have specific access needs, please let us know when registering.
- Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You’re welcome to attend with another carer or family member. Please ensure each person registers so we can manage numbers.
- Do I need to register?
Yes. Registration is required so we can prepare the space and materials. Places are limited.
