Day 1: Flourishing Professionals

Intro to the certification program for professionals to add flourishing science and practice to their work as internal changemakers, practitioners, and advisers.

Co-designed by DISCO and the World Flourishing Organization, this is a groundbreaking hands-on experience for professionals that would like to enhance their own skills and portfolio with the principles of human flourishing and practical applications of tools that promote flourishing at work.

This is the first step on the pathway to becoming a catalyst for positive change using the principles and practices of flourishing. This introduction, Flourishing Professional - Practice Lab, is a small, cohort learning opportunity, including a live workshop plus an online sensemaking session to follow up on how you're integrating the learning.

Upon completion of the program, you will be recognised as a WFO Certified Flourishing Professional Level 1.

Day 2: Flourishing Organisational Design

We're proud to launch DISCO's approach to organisational design to help you drive and enabling organisational change.

There are people whose job it is to help organisations to flourish, not by title but by the nature of their role. People who recognise the benefit of finding balance between employee flourishing and strategic direction.

They are the internal change-makers leading programs from within (eg. People and Culture, Org Development, Change, Strategy, and Leaders - just to name a few).

Are you working with a team or in an organisation to transition from point A (current state) to point B (desired state)? This could be a particular change initiative, right through to strategy building and implementation planning on a whole-system level. We call you awesome humans org design practitioners.

Org design practitioners create positive work environments, drive engagement, and support individual and organisational flourishing. And flourishing organisational design recognises you and the role you play - equipping you with the skillset, mindset and toolset to create flourishing teams, projects, and organisations.

After this program, you'll be able to identify, support and lead activities to transform teams and organisations from their current state to a state of flourishing.

This in-person event will be held in Hobart on the 13th and 14th of April. Followed by a 2-hour sensemaking session online to help you integrate the learning.
