Flow Music Presents: Market Memories | MJK | SUNAMICHI
Description
Flow Music Presents hosts at Haven for the very first time on Saturday, 18 October, with a stacked lineup that brings some of Australia’s finest underground artists to Byron Bay.
Market Memories (Sean Rault & Oliver James) have become one of Melbourne’s most in-demand duos, with more years behind the decks than they care to admit. Known for high-powered sets that transcend genres, they’ve lit up stages from Beyond the Valley and Ultra Music Festival to Strawberry Fields and Rainbow Serpent’s Market Stage - the very place where their name was born. With support for their productions from heavyweights like Solomun, Vintage Culture, Denis Sulta, and Camelphat, they’re carving their way onto the international stage while holding down their reputation as one of Australia’s most sought-after acts.
Joining them is MJK - a force in the Australian techno scene. Her sets weave hypnotic techno and psychedelic rhythms into powerful tribal soundscapes, keeping crowds locked in from first beat to last. Regularly performing at iconic venues around Melbourne and abroad, MJK is known for her ability to command the dancefloor with an intensity and emotion that’s impossible to ignore.
Opening the night is Sunamichi - an Australian artist based in Japan who blends influences from Berlin dance floors, Japanese minimal techno, and Australian bush doofs into a sound that’s both textured and transportive. Her sets are journeys in themselves - deep, precise, and rooted in authentic self-expression.
Warming things up from 4pm on the terrace are Sunnysideup and Iain Yess, spinning vinyl-only selections as the sun goes down.
This night marks the beginning of a new chapter for Flow Music Presents at Haven - Byron’s brand-new underground space for music and arts. Built from salvaged materials and designed with connection, intimacy, and world-class sound at its core, Haven is more than a venue - it’s a temporary sanctuary for community, creativity, and culture.
