Nature Based Wellbeing: Flower Crowns Children's Workshop
Event description
Making floral crowns is a fun, easy and mindful kid-friendly garden activity to get your children connected to their local environments.
Crafting floral crowns is a perfect activity for either rainy or hot days and is enjoyable for children to identify plants, and to observe and celebrate each of the different seasons.
Children will take away their own handcrafted floral crown which can be later dried as a keepsake, or composted.
Floral material will be supplied from the Botanic Gardens.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Nature Based Wellbeing at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium are indulgent and unforgettable experiences for the soul and senses, and will equip you with life-long skills to nourish your wellbeing and relationship with nature.
