Flowers For Jayne, Pocketwatch & The Resurrection Men
Event description
It'll be on for young and old at famed The Town and Country Hotel in St Peters on Friday, October 28th when three maximum rock'n'roll acts join forces for the first time. Flowers for Jayne, on the back of their well received single Winter Soldier, team up with newcomers pocketwatch and inner west vets, The Resurrection Men, for a night of pop tinged punk and rock to welcome the hotel's new TCH Friday Night Live line up, presented by 4 Horsemen.
Flowers for Jayne is an incredible trio made up of some of Sydney's most battle hardened rock'n'roll veterans. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Jayne Murphy is a former member of iconic Australian psychedelic acid punk band the Lime Spiders. Drummer Jess Ciampa has played for Aria award winning band Monsieur Camembert and the popular Jeff Duff Band, while newly recruited bassist Bill Gibson is a former member of legendary Sydney act The Eastern Dark and toured internationally with The Lemonheads.
Pocketwatch is an all teen trio (ages 19, 16 and 15) that has landed high-profile supports to the likes of X, Jupiter 5 and Sonic Garage. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Beatles, Nirvana and Silverchair, these teen tearaways have been cutting a swathe through the inner west with recent headlining shows at the Marrickville Bowling Club.
The Resurrection Men are a three piece rock and roll machine from Sydney, Australia fronted by one of the Inner West’s favourite sons Craig Norman, open the night with a cool collection of punk rock inspired originals and covers.
All ages are welcome, under 18s require a guardian accompanying all minors.
