🎣 An afternoon to unwind, learn, and cast a line

Please note - this is an adults-only event.

Take a break from the paddock and join us for a relaxed, hands-on afternoon of Fly Fishing for Farmers — a free event designed for farmers to try something new, and enjoy some time by the water.

With expert guidance from members of the NZ Fly Fishing Team, you’ll learn tips, tricks, and techniques — then have the chance to put them into practice on Pete Apthorp’s Pahiatua farm. We’ll finish the day with a BBQ and some yarns.

This event is just for the grown-ups — but we’re looking into the possibility of family events later in the year!

🎣 What to bring: Your own fly fishing gear if you have it – otherwise, gear will be provided on the day.
