Flynn's Walk - Sydney 2024

Flynn's Walk is back in Sydney in 2024, starting and finishing at Grant Reserve in Coogee!

We're walking and talking to support veterinary well-being - come for the walk, stay for the conversation.

Veterinarians and other veterinary staff face many challenges in their line of work. We hope to build more compassion and understanding in the wider community and show support for the people who care for our pets. Flynn's Walk provides a platform for the veterinary field to come together to support each other in a relaxed setting.

Our event is FREE to attend and open to all, not just members of the veterinary community - friends, family, young ones and dogs are all welcome!

Join us in Grant Reserve (enter from Neptune Street), from there we will set off for a 3.5km walk North along the coast via Coogee Beach, pausing near Gordon's Bay and then returning to the start.

We follow an accessible walking route that is mostly flat, with some steady ramped walkways and no steps. There is a steep hill leading up to the halfway point at Goldstein Reserve. You can choose to complete all or part of the route and take it at your own pace - or even stop somewhere along the route to enjoy the beautiful views.

What can you expect on the day?

Arrive from 9.15am, walk begins at 10.00am sharp (with short formalities before)

• FREE coffee, tea and hot chocolate before the walk, thanks to the Petbarn Foundation
• FREE doggy treats for your furry companions!
• FREE sausage sizzle (with vego + GF options) at the end of the walk
• LOTS of free 4-hour parking available along Neptune Street, and other surrounding streets
