Join us for an exciting evening at the UWA Tav as we officially launch Fund Our Future UWA!
Fund Our Future is a new student-led campaign calling on UWA to fully divest from fossil fuels. Divestment means moving the University’s investments away from fossil fuel companies and towards more ethical and sustainable alternatives. We’re calling on UWA to align its investments with its commitments to sustainability and climate action.
The night will be all about bringing people together, starting conversations and building momentum for the campaign. There’ll be guest speakers, games and activities, plenty of time to mingle, have some great conversations, pints (or your drink of choice!), and a raffle with prizes up for grabs.
Whether you already know heaps about divestment or have never heard of it before, everyone is welcome. Come along, bring your mates, learn a little about the campaign and meet some like-minded people while having a great night!
