Get Ready for the 9th Annual Foil Bay of Islands NZ!

This Year's Registration Options

The Island Race - Friday 19th

Kick off the weekend with The Island Race! Open to all classes, this is a standalone long-distance race for competent foilers looking for a challenge.

Please note: Results from the Island Race will not count towards the Saturday and Sunday series racing. Due to the nature of the course, this race is not for beginners or less confident foilers.

Series Racing - Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st

Two full days of racing action across a range of fleets, with divisions to suit different skill levels and classes!

Kitefoil, Waszp, Moth and all Windfoiler Fleets

Two days of competitive series racing for these fleets.

Wingfoil Gold Division – For the Competitive Wingers

Gold is for experienced wingfoilers who can confidently tack and gybe both ways without problems and are ready for competitive racing.

Wingfoil Silver Division – For the Developing Racers

Comfortable on your foil and getting around the course? Silver is for wingfoilers who can sail effectively upwind, tack or gybe, and confidently navigate a race course.

Social Wingfoil Division – For the Fun of It!

More about good times than the finish line! Social racing is perfect for those wanting to give racing a go, enjoy some light-hearted competition, and have a blast on the water. No pressure, just fun!

Good Racing, Great Food!

Rolling off the water with some tasty dinner options:

• Friday Night: Our famous Club BBQ for just $25 per person ($1 per year of age until 15 years old - e.g. 12-year-old $12). Pay on the day!

• Saturday Night: Food trucks and local vendors will be on-site, and our club bar will be open!

Get your mates together, choose your division, and get ready for an awesome weekend at Foil Bay of Islands NZ.

Register by the 12th Feb 2026 to avoid the $50 Late fee!
