Event description

Come and join us for a musical journey around the world exploring our globe’s folk music.

Some is old, some is new, and some are reimaginings of old favourites.

And featuring a world premier of a work by upcoming young Brisbane composer Alys Rayner - The Isle de France. It's her take on this historic ballad telling the story of a convict who was shipwrecked on the way back home from Australia after completing his transportation sentence.

This program is expertly curated by our leader Helentherese Goode and is one not to be missed.

We’d love to see you there.
