RMR

RMR is always a few steps ahead. He laces living and breathing soundscapes with the kinds of melodies that exist independent of eras and styles. There are flourishes and flexes you could associate with hip-hop, but there are also sky-high hooks that are unabashedly stadium rock. If you need a comparison, think Metro Boomin producing Def Leppard—and you’re in the right universe. It’s almost like he’s cooking up nostalgic anthems from somewhere in the future. That definitely holds true when it comes to his 2024 full-length, releasing in partnership with AWAL.

Shedding his signature mask and stretching his voice, he’s ready to introduce himself... “RMR is the man under the mask,” he notes. “RMR is a West African-born and Minnesota-bred young black guy who is influenced by many different cultures and chooses to express himself through his music.”

LUCI

Now based in Brooklyn, New York from Charlotte, NC her musical journey reflects her relentless pursuit of creative expression and resilience. The multitalented, multi dimensional artist LUCI (pronounced Loo-chee) shares her highly anticipated debut album, ‘They Say They Love You,’ under the esteemed Brixton-based record label, Don’t Sleep. Alongside the news, she shares the focus track ‘Morning Wine’ which will be released with the vinyl Jun 28. Building upon the success of her earlier hits like 'Spins', '11:11,' 'Martyr,' and 'Thunder Calling,' which garnered acclaim from respected media outlets including Nylon, Flood, and AfroPunk, LUCI is poised to push her artistic boundaries even further with her debut album ‘They Say They Love You’, which takes many unexpected, yet lovely turns as you continue to listen.

YAHZAY

Drawing inspiration from the timeless vocal performances of Classic R&B and Soul legends like Luther Vandross, Toni Braxton, and Whitney Houston, YAHZAY's sound pays homage to the rich tapestry of his musical upbringing. His vocal range, reminiscent of luminaries such as Frank Ocean and Lucky Daye, adds a contemporary flair to his soulful compositions.

With the latest album, "LIONHEART," YAHZAY returns to his roots, each track infusing his blend of rhythmic prowess and sonic experimentation. The entire album was self-produced and recorded throughout the winter of 2023, and evolved into a concept inspired by growth and love, with himself as the muse.

GRIMMJOI

GRIMMJOI is a Mexico-born DJ and producer currently living in Asheville, NC. With a versatile multi-genre mixing, he’s quickly become one of the most sought after local open-format DJs in his city. In addition, he’s steadily branching out and establishing himself within AVL’s local EDM scene bringing his own style of high-energy feral Dubstep, Tech-House, Trap and other sounds.
