Food & Wine Experience 2024

Minnesota Monthly's 29th annual Food & Wine Experience is the premier epicurean event and adventure. This Midwest-leading tasting event includes three incredible days of wine and spirit tastings from local and national brands to chef and restaurateur interactions, and gift shopping from local makers and artisans to samples of craft brews and innovative beverages. The entire 2024 Food & Wine Experience weekend is March 1 through March 3 with a bonus private tasting on February 29 at the The Omni Viking Lakes Hotel – Home of the Minnesota Vikings.

The experiences are all-inclusive and include:

GRAND VINE (SOLD OUT)

The kick-off to the Food & Wine Experience is Grand Vine - an intimate, high-end tasting of fine red, white, rose and sparkling wine with catered gourmet bites and live music. Wines featured at the event retail at $20 or higher and showcase the best from vineyards across the globe.

• Tickets include samples of wine and food and a Riedel tasting glass for $100.00 per person plus tax and fees.
• Friday, March 1 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
• Norse Hall at the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel
• Enter through the patio on the south side of Kyndred Hearth
• Limited to the first 450 people.

VIP EXPERIENCE - FOOD & WINE (SOLD OUT)

On Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3, be a VIP before the General Tasting. Iconic food and beverage brands will sample their food, wine, brews, spirits, and more in the Norse Room from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on both days. VIP ticket holders receive early access to this space from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. and may partake in the General Tasting from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., which allows for an extra hour!

• Tickets include all samples in VIP area and the General Tasting, a tasting glass, and a tote bag for $135.00 per person plus tax and fees.
• Saturday, March 2 or Sunday, March 3 (Tickets are only valid for the day purchased.)
• Limited to the first 300 people each day.
  

GENERAL TASTING - FOOD & WINE

On Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3, the General Tasting will offer samples of food, wine, brews, spirits, and more throughout the entire event space at the Omni Viking lakes Hotel.

• Tickets include all samples, a tasting glass, and a tote bag for $95.00 per person plus tax and fees. Access to the VIP Experience will be available to General Tasting ticket holders from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday, March 2 or Sunday, March 3 (Tickets are only valid for the day purchased.)
• Limited to the first 1,500 people each day.
  

J. LOHR PRIVATE TASTING (SOLD OUT)

Experience unparalleled luxury with a private J. Lohr wine tasting on Thursday, February 29 while overlooking the Minnesota Vikings practice facility, where every sip is a journey through California's Central Coast terroir. Paired with gourmet delicacies crafted to complement each vintage, indulge in an exquisite culinary adventure that tantalizes the palate and elevates the senses. Wines and menu available online.

• Limited to 35 people.
• Tickets include five course J. Lohr wine tasting along with gourmet bites with each tasting from the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel.
