Food for Thought: A Delectable Dialogue with Jill Griffiths
Event description
Do you ever wonder where your food comes from? Do you think about the quality of the food you eat? Is free-range healthier for the animals and for us compared with industrial settings? How will climate change impact our food choices and security?
Author Jill Griffiths addresses these and other related questions in her book, "What's for Dinner? Our food, Our choices, Our planet" (2023). Jill was a finalist for the WA Premier's Literary Awards Book of the Year for 2024.
Living Earth Projects is pleased to present Food for Thought: A Delectable Dialogue with Jill Griffiths, on the afternoon of November 3, 2024, at the State Library Theatre.
The event features an interview with Jill Griffiths about her book followed by an open Q&A session and a social gathering / networking opportunity.
Refreshments will be served in the foyer while Jill signs copies of her book.
City of Perth offers 3-hour free parking at the Cultural Centre on weekends. Living Earth Projects encourages you to use public transport, if possible.
This Regenerative Agriculture event is made possible thanks to RegenWA and funding from Lotterywest. RegenWA is powered by the Perth NRM Restoration Impact Framework project with funding from Lotterywest, and Commonland.
