If you haven’t already, we ask that you please fill out the following pre-event survey. Wao is surveying Wao Summit attendees this year, to track the impact our events have on our community and individual attitudes and lifestyle. This survey is part one of two that we will be asking you to complete. Please fill this survey out before attending events at the Summit, and note you only need to fill it out ONCE.

Invitation to attend Opening Ceremony 25 October 9am - 10am Wānaka Lakefront

You are invited to join us for the opening of the Wao Summit 2022, led by Ron Bull, Tumuaki Whakaako at Otago Polytechnic. Setting the scene for the week, the opening will be held at the Wānaka Lakefront opposite the Dinosaur Park. All are welcome and entry is free.

What can you do to help us keep our event impact down?

Bring a refillable drink bottle with you to the event.
Take a reusable cup and container with you for coffee and food in town.
Consider how you travel to our events. Bike, walk or carpool with others. Coming from Hāwea or Albert Town, try out the new shuttle service trial (the more people who try it out the more demand is created for future public transport). Wao have also created a document if you wanted to connect with others for carpooling.
