Food Hygiene - Accredited Training for CHSP Volunteers
This course provides the knowledge required to use good personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food and the spread of food borne illnesses and supports volunteers to provide high quality care to older community members receiving CHSP aged care services.
Volunteers will learn how to:
- Follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards
- Report any personal health issues
- Prevent food contamination
- Prevent cross-contamination by washing hands
Volunteers who successfully complete the course will receive a:
Certificate of Attainment SITXFSA005 - Use hygienic practices for food safety.
Date: Tuesday 25 February
Time: 10am to 2pm (AEDT)
Location: Campbelltown
Cost: Free for CHSP volunteers
