FAQs
- Do I need to attend live?
Nope! While attending live gives you the opportunity to engage in real time, a replay will be sent to all registered participants afterward so you can watch at your convenience.
- Is this workshop only for dietitians?
Not at all. This workshop is designed for dietitians, therapists, counselors, coaches, and other helping professionals who support clients struggling with food noise, chronic dieting, disordered eating, or body image concerns.
- What does weight-inclusive mean here?
In this space weight inclusivity means:
✅ to create and hold spaces that are accessible to bodies of all sizes and free of stigma, bias, and shame
✅ to believe that body diversity is real and that all bodies, regardless of size, are worthy of dignity, care, and respect
✅ to reject the assumption that health and well-being can be reduced to body size alone
✅ to support humans in building sustainable, health enhancing behaviors, if they so choose, without centering weight loss as a metric of progress
- What if I’m newer to weight-inclusive or non-diet work?
You are welcome here. This workshop is designed to be approachable for clinicians at many stages of learning. Whether you're brand new to these concepts or already practicing from a weight-inclusive lens, you'll leave with practical tools and language you can apply with clients.
- Will you be discussing GLP-1 medications or medication management?
Yes. Part of the workshop will focus on how to navigate conversations with clients who may be considering medication intervention for food noise. The discussion will center on helping clients make informed, empowered decisions within a weight-inclusive framework.
- Will I receive CE credits?
At this time, this workshop has not been pre-approved for any continuing education credits by any professional organization. I am happy to provide anyone who attends live a certificate of completion for 1 credit hour if you'd like to submit if for consideration on your own.
- How does the donation-based pricing work?
You choose an amount between $0–$50 based on what feels accessible and sustainable for you right now. No amount is too small, even if that amount is $0! The goal is to make this conversation accessible to the clinicians who want to participate. Any support is appreciated but not required.
