    Event description

    Summary:

    Learn how to preserve and save wonderful summer crops and herbs. Participants will use freshly harvested items to produce their very own spice blend. Materials will be provided. 

    This workshop will be led by Kendra Hazel the creator of @greenthingswork, an herb enthusiast, urban garden educator, and a plant based chef established Green Things Work in 2016.Green Things Work is a plant based wellness brand with a meaningful passion to live. It is Hazel’s vision to educate, inspire, and show people how to live a more healthy life with a holistic approach.The brand’s core values includes the following attributes: wellness, quality, intentional, passion, and connection. The mission of Green Things Work is to develop new and positive mindsets within the black community about herbalism, holistic lifestyles, and plant based foods.

    In the event of severe weather, Common Good City Farm will send an email to all students informing them that the event has been cancelled/rescheduled. Common Good City Farm has a pavilion where workshops take place so events can continue to happen in the rain.
