Generously funded by Telethon, 'Food Sensations for Children' (FSC) is a 4 week community healthy eating and cooking program designed to provide parents and carers of children 0 - 5 years, with the tools to create a positive eating experience for the whole family.

Sessions will run on Wednesday from 11 - 12:30 pm, via Zoom at the Playgroup building. If you are unable to attend, you can join from home.

The following topics will be covered:

Ø Week 1 - 12th October – Healthy eating for the whole family, introduction to solids, types and textures of food for each development stage.

Ø Week 2 - 19th October - Helpful tools and tips to make mealtimes less stressful and tackle picky eating.

Ø Week 3 – 26th October - How to read food labels, prepare lunchboxes and keep food safe.

Ø Week 4 – 2nd November - How to plan and feed the family on a budget.

Each week parents/carers will receive various resources including a recipe to try.

Complete the program and receive a gift pack including 4 recipe books, Let’s Feed the Family education book and kids healthy eating plate.
