The very first FOOLS GOLD FESTIVAL is taking place on April 1st at Tanswell’s Hotel, and yes, you’re reading it right… Brant Bjork is playing in Beechworth! The Californian stoner rock legend himself (formerly of Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Desert Sessions + heaps more and a helluva solo career) is touring Australia with fellow legends Mario Lalli and Ryan Gut, who make up the BRANT BJORK TRIO, and we are beyond excited to have secured them for Fool’s Gold! They’ll be joined by ripping lineup of killer bands headed by our very own, Beechworth-bred fuzz rock royalty, MY LEFT BOOT, who have conjoined their traditional Easter show (19 years running) with the festival for this epic occasion.
Add to this FULL TONE GENERATOR (heaving groove merchants touring Nationally with Brant Bjork Trio with brand new album in tow), REDRO REDRIGUEZ & HIS INNER DEMONS (revolving door talent machine headed by illustrious leader Red), SPACEJUNK (explosive and powerful live riff merchants), DROID (incredible tuned down stoner/doom hybrid via the Wangaratta underworld) and ANOX (local Beechworth 5 piece aged between 15 and 22, with a sound well beyond their years).
Between bands we’ll have the talents of ORIGINAL MC and DJ JANE DOE on the wheels of steel to keep the party partying and the noise noisy.
