    Event description

This full-day creative demonstration at Footprints EcoFestival 2024 will showcase a small group of youth (16-24 year-olds), circular fashion advocates, guided by slow fashion stylist, Jo Gambale (Slogue) to turn a mountain of discarded clothes into fabulous upcycled creations to be showcased in a collaborative runway show later in the day. This hybrid collaborative skill sharing workshop-performance will focus on textile waste issues as well as potential creative solutions. Anyone interested in taking part should complete this form.

Footprints attendees are encouraged to bring clothes to contribute to the event and are welcome/encouraged to join the workshop/sewing bee to make their own outfit), or ask questions of the makers, menders and stylists in action. After the Circular Fashion Show at 1:15-2:15pm festival participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Clothes Takeaway (2:30-3:00pm).
