For Foods Sake Book Launch Encore!

In collaboration with CERI (Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation) and Overbooked, we are so grateful to be hosted by CERI for the book launch.

Information about CERI and Overbooked

CERI:

Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation (CERI) guides innovators to create impact. A social enterprise supporting the next generation of Western Australia's entrepreneurs. Our programs are curated to educate and empower early-stage entrepreneurs, PhD students, and visionaries within the Western Australian community. We offer a range of services to help your startup grow. From education to mentorship, workplace residency, industry exposure, and access to an extensive network of experts and like-minded people.

CERIously Overbooked:

Connecting like-minded people looking to develop their skills, challenge the status quo, and make a meaningful impact in society.

Our events are tailor-made for young, busy professionals like you, eager to soak up knowledge while making valuable connections.

This marks our inaugural meetup for 2026, where we unite kindred spirits hungry to push boundaries, shake up norms, and leave a mark on the world. Expect lively discussions, shared insights, and a sprinkle of laughter as we learn together in a way that's not just educational but downright enjoyable.

The first book featured will be For Foods Sake, a book that pulls back the curtain on the food industry, revealing how processed foods are made, marketed, and manipulated to sway your choices. Written by a former food technologist, this book arms you with practical frameworks to:

• Spot misleading labels & marketing hype

• Understand ingredient lists like a pro

• Make healthier, more informed decisions for you and your family.

This isn’t just another nutrition book; it’s an insider’s exposé that empowers you to shop and eat smarter.

The evening will include a short presentation, followed by an informal conversation and a book signing.

It will be an easygoing and relaxed evening. I’d love for you to come along, hang out, and be part of this book launch encore! :)
