Kayla's a 13 year old navigating the final week of middle school with a week of pimples, pool parties & puberty pains ahead of her. She's got a YouTube channel no one watches and she's just been voted "Most Quiet" at her school. Life sucks, and it's only getting to get more awkward.
Few films have ever captured growing pains so uncomfortably & hilariously as comedian Bo Burnham's Eighth Grade, an incredible cringefest of puberty woes that's set in a time where growing up is now something you do online - and you hope desperately that somebody's waching.
