For Our Elders - NAIDOC Concert Dinner
Event description
We welcome all community and allies for a night full of celebration, paying honour to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and culture with an evening of outstanding musical talent and fashion.
Enjoy a grazing platter and soft beverage upon arrival before entering Ainslie Main Hall for a seated roast dinner, dessert and accompanying performances.
The dinner features performances by Uncle Cole Hardy, Uncle Dale Huddleston, Summar Barratt and Tahalianna Soward-Måhanga along with a showcase of local design labels including Blaklabel Dreaming, Blakberry Seed, and more.
Doors and pre-show drinks from 5:30pm, performances from 6pm.
This event is presented by Soward Management with support from Arts Capital at Ainslie Arts Centre, and the ACT Government.
