The act of creating your own heavenly body is deeply intertwined with the trans experience. This night is dedicated to celebrating the body in all its forms, augmented and natural, honouring self creation and transformation.

FOR THE DOLLS HEAVENLY BODIES features an ethereal lineup of our community’s most heavenly bodied icons from drag, burlesque, ballroom and the body of Boorloo herself DJ Kayty Banks on the decks!

Gender affirming care and surgery for trans women, trans men and trans non-binary people is vital for our community to live safely and comfortably in our bodies. Despite this, such care is still not fully recognised or covered by Medicare.

FOR THE DOLLS exists to support trans people in our community in reaching their fundraising goals for gender affirming surgeries through community driven events in queer spaces. Funds raised on the night will go directly toward this cause, as well as supporting future FOR THE DOLLS events.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which FOR THE DOLLS: HEAVENLY BODIES is held, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
