FINALE!

And here it is, my friends. The conclusion. The swansong. The epilogue. The fat lady singin'.

FTR is coming to an end! (Ooooor a new beginning shaped like an ending) So we're going out with a BANG and stories of those big finales. The love that couldn't last. The leaving that had to happen. The sentence said sincerely, finishing it all off. And, well - the crashes. The burns. The final notes on the grand (soap) opera of something.

These are those stories – of the lasts that come, the lasting impression they leave, and the words we weave to know they were.

For The Record is a monthly storytelling event at The Bearded Lady. Somewhere between sitting cosy on your grandma's knee as she reads to you and cringe-inducing empathy work outs.

This event occurs on Stolen Jaggera and Turrbal lands. For The Record wishes to acknowledge that storytelling has occured on this land since the very first sunrise. We wish to pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. This was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
