Foraged Clay Workshop with Lucy Edgington | Holding Space
Event description
Constance ARI presents HOLDING SPACE; a project space and residency program delivered in collaboration with the UTAS School of Creative Arts & Media (CAM).
RESIDENT #2| LUCY EDGINGTON
During her Holding Space residency, Lucy has been experimenting with found objects and materials foraged from the farm on which she lives and works. Natural clays, rock, animal bones, fibres, scrap metal and plastic create a tension as she explores ideas of time, privilege, control, and connection, whilst navigating the complexities of farming and agricultural practice.
WORKSHOP | Saturday 23 November
Join Lucy for a morning of wild clay! Learn about how to process and make with wild clay whilst chatting about relationships with materials, slow practice, respecting the land and the ethics of foraging. The workshop will include getting your hands muddy 🙂
